Preparations are currently underway for Uganda's premium fashion gathering Kampala Fashion Week. This year's event which also marks the 6th edition of KFW, will be held from 26 - 28 September at Yamasen Japanese Restaurant, Tank Hill Road in Kampala.
The event will feature established and emerging designers: Sonco, Mosaic, Alice Atuhaire, Agusta Masaki, Kai''s Divo, Eguana Kampala, Margaux Wong, Nina Mire' X Elijah McQuinn, Bold In Africa, Kona, Catherine & Sons and Gloria Wavamunno.
As Uganda's most influential fashion platform, Kampala Fashion Week promotes Ugandan designers and Fashion designers around the continent to a large global market. The organization was created to support and strengthen the design industry in Uganda as well as enhancing the cultural and creative talent that Uganda and the African continent has to offer. KFW is powered by the Ugandan Fashion Council (UFC).
