Multimedia Visual Artist, Trevor Stuurman Collaborates With Black Panther

South African creative director, photographer and multimedia visual artist, Trevor Stuurman recently collaborated with the brand that is still on everyone's lips, Black Panther, in a creative African inspired exhibition.

Dubbed Trevor Stuurman X Black Panther, the visuals feature fellow creative forces, Manthe Ribane of Dear Ribane and Kwena Baloyi, styled adorned in hand crafted luxury accessories by Kenyan designer, MOYO by Bibi. 

The young creative's brand is synonymous with authenticity, creativity and fashion. Over the years, we have witnessed his breathtaking work, which often depicts elements of African pride, culture and and identity.

A star-studded event with a 'Black Power' themed dress code was held last night at the Hazard Gallery in Maboneng, Johannesburg, in celebration of the collaborative exhibition.

On 9 February,  Trevor showcased a multimedia installation of his my new body of work in London at an exclusive Black Panther event hosted by the British Film Institute.

Stuurman gained mainstream acknowledgement when he won the Elle Style Reporter competition in 2012. He has since teamed up with renowned brands, traveled across the globe showcasing his work and continues to shape the South African creative and fashion and scene as well as flying the African flag while at it.
