The 1.80 m fashion model was born in Luanda, Angola. She was named Forbes Africa Magazine’s top model of 2013.
Black hair is the least celebrated texture in the fashion industry so the likes of Maria showcasing at VS' annual fashion show in all their Nappy Glory is a definite breath of fresh air and hopefully we get to see more variations of black hair celebrated on top notch fashion platforms.
