The annual Intwasa Arts Festival is set to rock Zimbabwe in the beautiful city of Bulawayo. The 10th edition will kick off on 23-27 September with the aim to embrace and celebrate the different cultures and forms expressions found in Zimbabwe, Africa and the world at large.
Community development is the focal point of the festival as well as celebrating cultural diversity as outlined in the UNESCO Convention of 2005, for the promotion and protection of the diversity of cultural expressions. All this is expressed through creativity and the arts.

About the project:
INTWASA is one of Zimbabwe’s premiere arts gatherings. Starting of as a community initiative the multi-discipline arts festival has grown to become a leading international arts festival celebrating human diversity and creativity. To date Intwasa has hosted regional and international artistes from Botswana, Swaziland, South Africa, United States of America, UK, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Belgium, Wales and Zambia.
The HEART of the festival remains community development and collaborations while its VISION is mass celebration of human creativity.
