Headline act Thandiswa Mazwai enchanted the crowd, creating an inspiring and joyous experience for all Cape Town World Music Festival fans'. Her talent, her voice, and her presence lit up the Cape Town City Hall and had people smiling from cheek to cheek.
In addition to that, Vieux Farka Toure (Mali) and the boys of Beatenberg, the weekend sure did present an impressive, and unforgettable programme across the Friday and Saturday. Featured artists Okamulmkoolkat, Madala Kuene, Derek Gripper, Los Tacos, Ottoman Slap, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Mynabirds, and DJ Clock - just to name a few - defined the true meaning of diversity at this festival.
