Do Agric is an initiative spearheaded by ONE bringing together 19 African artists from 11 countries and 10 languages across the continent combining arts and agriculture through DoAgric' and through collaborative efforts, Cocoa na Chocolate was made.
The purpose of the song is a ONE message to African Leaders to Do Agric because it pays!
A Godfather production features musicians like, A.Y. (Tanzania), Bufallo Souljah (Zimbabwe), Dama Do Bling (Mozambique), D'Banj (Nigeria), Diamond (Tanzania), Dontom (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DRC), Femi Kuti (Nigeria), Judith Sephuma (South Africa), Juliani (Kenya), Kunle Ayo (Nigeria), Vusi Nova (South Africa), Liz Ogumbo (Kenya), Nancy G (Swaziland), Omawumi (Nigeria), Rachid Taha (Algeria), Tiken Jah Fakoly (Cote d'Ivoire), Victoria Kimani (Kenya) and Wax Dey (Cameroon).
We always see the integration between music and other aspects such as fashion but we hardly hear about agriculture yet it is one of the main activities carried out on the continent hence why the ONE organisation felt the need to create awareness about agriculture through music and encouraging our leaders to invest in it.
