Congolese nun, Sister Angelique Namaika is one strong African woman who is known as mother to women and girls who are victims of the war in the DRC was recently named as this year's Nansen Refugee Award. This comes after her great contribution towards helping abused survivors displaced by the Lord Resistance Army in the North-East region of Democratic Republic of Congo.
Clearly, being charitable and helping others is not only for the rich and wealthy. We can all do our bit in the best way possible.
