Poetry Friday! Why you talk so white! By Maya The Poet

Maya Wegerif aka Maya The Poet is a young South African poet. I'm a huge fan of her work, she's an incredible writer and all I can say is watch out for this outspoken sista.

Her poem, 'Why you talk so white' highlights a number of points and I love how well versed Maya is. She tackles topics that are relevant (in my opinion). It is no secret that she's a global citizen.
When I always speak of 'African cool', Maya is indeed a true representation of that.
