Ugandan B-boys, DJs & Rappers Featured In Nas' Documentary, "Shake The Dust"



It is refreshing to hear good news about the arts and creatives in Uganda showcased on a global platform.
Shake The Dust is finally out from executive producer and rapper Nasir “Nas” Jones and journalist-turned-filmmaker Adam Sjöberg, Shake the Dust chronicles the influence of breakdancing, exploring how it strikes a resonant chord in the slums, favelas and ghettos of the world and far beyond. Showcasing some of the most jaw-dropping breakdancing moves ever committed to film, Shake the Dust is an inspiring tribute to the uplifting power of music and movement.

Narrated by Karim a Ugandan boy, the documentary follows features B-boys, DJs and rappers from Uganda, Cambodia, Colombia and Yemen whose dream is to change the slums.
